leccy

British trade slang for electrician, common on job sites

a slang word for an electrician or worker from the supply company, a supply of electricity, a bill for the supply of electricity. Regional spelling versions exist like leckie and lekkie, but leccy is a more common form due to the absence of a K in electricity.

My powers gone off but its ok I have the leccy coming over. So glad I paid my bill to get the leccy back on. Have you seen the size of this leccy bill!
