Board Stretcher
Clásica broma de carpinteros a los novatos, humor en el lugar de trabajo.
Un Board Stretcher es el dispositivo que le dices al carpintero novato que vaya a buscar en la camioneta del capataz para que puedas ajustar la tabla que acaba de cortar dos pulgadas demasiado corta para que encaje bien en el nuevo mueble de cocina. Solo existe en la mente de los carpinteros traviesos a quienes les gusta gastar bromas a los novatos.
Me: "Damn Hector you cut the board too short. Go get the board stretcher out of the foreman's truck, rookie." Hector: "What's it look like?" Me: "You'll know it when you see it. If it ain't there ask the foreman where he has it."
