Dead leg; (Großbritannien, Irland) ein Bein, das durch Schlag oder Stoß schmerzhaft taub, steif oder verkrampft wird. In den USA auch Charley horse genannt, kann dort auch einen Schlag auf den Arm bedeuten, oft beim Herumalbern.
