Ein Zustand bei einem verschlissenen Verbrennungsmotor, bei dem die Kolbenringe die Brennkammer nicht mehr wirksam abdichten, sodass Druckluft und Kraftstoff aus dem Zylinder entweichen. Dies führt zu Leistungsverlust und erhöhten Emissionen. Der Motor verbrennt normalerweise auch Öl.
