microbore
A kind of narrow tubing with an outside diameter of 10 millimetres or less.
Warum dieses Wort
The name is a size class, not a product: 8mm and 10mm copper are the usual sizes, run off manifolds to radiators so the tube can be threaded under floors. The trade-off is flow, which is why it feeds terminals rather than mains.
In use
Run the microbore off the manifold to that towel rail, no point pulling 15mil all the way up there.
