Ein Spekulant, der eine Ware kauft oder verkauft, in der Hoffnung, schnell Gewinn zu machen, ohne echte Überzeugung vom Geschäft zu haben; sein einzige Hoffnung auf Erfolg ist das Glück.
Martin: "I want to buy Apple shares because they're bound to go up!" Luca: "Martin, don't be such a chopper!" Phoebe: "Hey John, what do you think of Omar?" John: "Omar Naveed Kayaam? He seems okay, but he's such a chopper! He's got no idea what he's doing!"
